apparently, high school sucks
ive always been those people who listed on at least the big ten since elementary until junior high school but then, high school came
i was so excited about being a high school student. i mean, well
-new uniform
-new friends
-new surroundings that is a lot different from my junior and elementary
and i dont know about other people but i have always seeing senior high students as a grown up and that's what excites me the most which that means i was becoming one of those "grown up"
the first day was like what i expected it to be. seniors lead us, juniors, to explore the school more and it went for a week.
the first day of studying was pretty hard but luckily i survived through the whole year. survived, yes. but barely breathing. i spent the whole junior year struggling through all of the subjects. i am in the science class yet has no interest at science at all. like literally, AT ALL. the only thing that made me want to join the science class is because im dreaming of becoming an architect which i have to choose science.
sometimes i cried in the middle of the night over the thought that i probably wouldnt survive and had to repeat grade 10. but magically, i didn't.
grade 11 is a disaster.
let me just tell you about my situation now because if i have to tell it from the beginning of the school year, one post wouldnt fit.
im in the middle of this phase called frustation. i remembered being a junior high student when i dont have to study "that hard" to achieve something. the teachers were so supportive and so did both of my parents (well, my parents are still very very very supportive now and im so thankful). i was those students who listed as the top ten. i joined some clubs and competition even though ive never win one. but school choose me which kind of an achievement right?
now im so frustated. i find it so hard to focus into something. im that kind of person who multitask. i cant stick in only one job because it bores the fuck out of me. i dont do a lot of reading and if i dont like something, i'll refuse it even if i still need it. im that kind of people whose hard to understand and dont express my feeling to people. i always find it hard to do an exam even if i already studied my ass off the week before.
and teachers arent helping. they dont care about their students. well some teachers do, but most of them dont. and this drives me damn crazy because they never give a shit about our opinion. they give us TONS of homeworks and the deadline is fucking short. they give us homeworks like he/she is the only one who give it.
teachers expect us to study 8 hours, 5 days in a week. plus homeworks. plus exams. plus quiz. etc etc. they tell us to have enough sleep, take everything easily, dont get stressed yet they give us these crazy amount of things to do. well, think before you speak.
and im not those who survived. im not those who has brilliant brain. im not those who understand everything clearly and fastly. im not those who spend my whole holiday doing on school projects.
i just feel like i dont belong here
