being grateful and cheesy
i came to my additional class lesson feeling all lazy and unexcited. i entered the class finding out that they had change my physics teacher. i actually felt a bit interested because my previous teacher was -on my opinion- shit as fuck. even tho he had given me some useful lessons i still cant get over him. finding out that he has been changed to a new teacher that for me looks interested, i entered the class with a bit of excitement growing.
i sat in the back corner of the class because that's the only chair that left. i sat and got my book out and also a pencil and an eraser. i actually felt my mood getting better and better as the lesson went by. he -the new teacher- kept teaching and for every few minutes he told us about his experience and sometimes life lesson simply so we won't get bored.
until in one point, he asked us a question that interest me so much
"do you know why when you were little you never fail to learn something new. like when your first time learned how to walk, and other new things such as writing and reading?"
the whole class remained in silence for a few minutes. i, myself, wondered why. then finally one of my classmate tried to answer the question. there were a little debate on "why"
"clearly because the lessons are getting harder"
"or we've lost our interest on studying"
and a lot of other things has been said
then my teacher finally explain his opinion which i don't even know why his opinion got me thinking so hard
"it's because when we were little, we used to have parents that keep compliment us and support us even tho we failed to do things. your parents wont get mad at you for falling on the grass or off the chair when you're trying to do your first step. your parents kept support you no matter what when you cant count from one to ten. and as the time goes, you're getting older and older and your parents don't do the same anymore. they sometimes get mad at you when you get bad score for your math test. they accuse you for not studying very hard when you fail your school exams. that's why. you kind of lost support from your parents, or even sometimes from your own self"

i'm so grateful that i have such a supportive parents. my mom and dad always try so hard to make me happy and support me through everything. even when i failed some things, they still telling me to keep working and working and that failure is just another way to get to your success. they keep reminding me that failure is a success that had been delayed. they keep telling me that failure isn't the end of everything. they support me to do whatever the shit i want to do as long as it will lead me to a better future.
they dont get mad
they simply want me to be a better person
